Born and raised in Cape Town, Carmen’s finance journey began in the audit industry when she completed her articles. She obtained a BCompt (Accounting Science) degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a post-graduate diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Carmen worked in various industries including retail, petroleum and hospitality. As Finance Manager of the Carrick Group she oversees the flow of communication and integration between the Accounts, Commissions and Payroll departments.
